Boots / Penguin £1,000 Treat Street Competition Terms and Conditions:

1. Competition live from 00:01 1st October 2011 to 31st May 2012.
2. Internet access required.
3. No purchase necessary to enter.
4. Entrants to this competition must be aged 18 years or over and be a resident of the UK.
5. Employees and the immediate families of Boots UK Limited, their agents or anyone professionally connected with this competition are not entitled to enter.
6. Consumers must visit www.boots.com/treatstreet/spree and enter their contact details to enter the competition.
7. An independent person selected by Boots UK Limited will select a winner at random after 31st May 2012 from all valid entries.
8. The competition will close at midnight on 31st May 2012.
9. The competition is free to enter and only one entry per person, per email address will be valid.
10. The prize of £1,000 shopping spree will be issued by the Promoter and will be in the form of a cheque.
11. The winner will be notified by email by 15th June 2012.
12. Winning notification email must be acknowledged by the winner within 72 hours.
13. Failure to respond within 72 hours means that the winner forfeits the right to the prize and Boots will select an alternative winner from all valid entries received.
14. Responsibility will not be accepted for loss, delay or corruption of any data in transit or in the incomplete nature of any entries to the competition.
15. Entries are subject to verification. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, brute force, or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
16. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them.
17. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
18. The winner may be required to participate in unpaid, reasonable publicity relating to their prize.

20. The Promoter and its suppliers are not liable for any change, compensation, cancellation, loss, damage, expense or failure to perform any contractual obligation which is due to any event or circumstances which the Promoter (or its suppliers) could not foresee or avoid.
21. The Promoter reserves the right to amend and or withdraw the competition at any time without prior notice.
